In order to meet these obligations, we seek the input and participation of each and every person that works with or for the company. We are committed to everyone’s right to stop any unsafe job and assure that there will be no reprisal for doing so.
We also understand that in addition to top to bottom structural participation a number of key commitments are also necessary to achieve our obligations. These include:
Promoting an HSE culture and continuously improving it
Identifying major hazards and reducing their risk to as low as reasonably practicable wherever possible
Ensuring our personnel is fully qualified for assigned tasks
Ensuring we have sufficient available resources for the management system’s implementation
Complying with all pertinent environmental and safety laws, rules, and regulations
Developing and constantly improving health, safety & environmental objectives and performance
Communicating this policy to our employees, contractors, and all other interested parties
Meeting community expectations in terms of health, safety, and environmental performance
